Call for papers
We invite paper on all aspects of Computational Intelligence to UKCI 2023 (The 22nd UK Workshop on Computational Intelligence), which will be organized by Aston University, on 6-8 September 2023. UKCI 2023 covers topics of both theory and application in Computational Intelligence. The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Fuzzy Systems
Neural Networks
Evolutionary Computation
Evolving Systems
Machine Learning
Data Mining
Cognitive Computing
Intelligent Robotics
Hybrid Methods
Deep Learning
Applications of Computational Intelligence
Extended Journal Publications
Selected papers in substantially extended form will be considered for publication in a special issue of
Expert Systems: The Journal of Knowledge Engineering (IF: 2.812 ).
The first 3 best papers will be recommended for consideration of the publication in other leading journals.
Call for Special Sessions
UKCI 2023 features special sessions consisting of 4-5 papers on new research topics or innovative applications.
Papers in these sessions will undergo the same regular review process as those in general sessions.
Prospective organisers should include a brief statement of purpose of the session as well as the abstracts of the contributions and send us at ukci.2k23@gmail.com.
UKCI 2023 Awards
Outstanding Paper Award
This will be awarded for the best overall submission to UKCI 2023.
Outstanding Student Paper Award (By Springer)
This will be awarded for the best student paper submission to UKCI.
Best Presentation Award
This will be awarded to the overall best presentation made at UKCI 2023.
